Open House Registration Available Now at Petersham Montessori School

 

Due to substantial interest last year, Petersham Montessori School, located at 28 New Salem Road, Petersham, MA, recommends that families interested in its annual open house sign up ahead of time for tours. To register for a tour, interested families can call the school at (978) 724-0246, or email petershammontessori1@verizon.net in advance of the open house on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, from 9:30 to 11:30 am.

Unregistered walkthroughs of the school are still welcome at the open house, and families that still need a guided tour can use the contact information above to schedule a private tour and Q and A session. Parking for the open house is in the school parking lot off New Salem Road.

Petersham Montessori School was established in 1996 by the Sisters of the Assumption convent, who believed in the value of a Montessori education. Practical life, motor, language, and math skills explorations are available to children 2.9 to 6 years old. The school offers well-crafted, wooden Montessori materials and an outdoor playground and garden. All staff members are Montessori certified, and the Head of School, Cheryl Calcari, has over 25 year's experience in early childcare education.
